Graduated as a Certified Massage Practitioner (CMP) from The Santa Cruz Holistic Health Institute (renamed Cypress Health Institute). Integral Massage was taught by Susan Mathews Scott and Richard Scott. Larry Bernstein and Shari Rose taught Polarity Therapy.

I studied and practiced Watsu and Waterdance (aquatic bodywork done in a warm swimming pool) intensively from 1993-1997. My primary teachers were Minakshi and Alexander Georgeokopolis. I also studied Watsu with founder Harol Dull and Waterdance with Arjana, one of its founders.

I assisted in Watsu classes and taught two Level One Watsu classes and a Watsu workshop on my own.
